Leading Innovative Cinema Technology Finds Perfect Pairing with Twentieth Century Fox’s Blockbuster Spy Franchise
Seoul, South Korea – September 5, 2017 - Kingsman: The Golden Circle, one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the Fall, will be released worldwide in 4DX, one of the most innovative cinema technology formats available in theaters today. The film’s explosive action set -pieces combined with the injection of new characters including those played by big stars Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal and Jeff Bridges will be emphasized even more when paired with 4DX.
4DX is a revolutionary cinematic experience that stimulates the senses using high-tech motion seats and special environmental effects including wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water, rain and scents. Through the efforts of specially trained editors at the 4DX Studio in Hollywood, these effects are synced perfectly with the action on screen to create the most unmissable and exhilarating cinematic experience. Since its launch in Korea in 2009, 4DX has expanded to 400 total venues in 49 countries and has become especially popular among viewers in their teens and 20s. 4DX is available in both 2D and 3D formats.
Kingsman: Golden Circle, the second film in the British spy series, takes place after the Kingsman’s headquarters is destroyed and the world is held hostage. The film follows the remaining Kingsman as they band together with an allied spy organization in the US to defeat their common enemy. The first film, Kingsman: Secret Agent (2015), had tremendous success in Korea, attracting more than 6.12 million movie-goers to the cinema with a film that balanced stylish spy-themed action with pinpoint wit and humor. Kingsman: The Golden Circle features upgraded action sequences and even more of the series’ unique style. The series also includes a one-of-a-kind shoot out and explosion scene, as well as action sequences utilizing the most state-of-the-art spy technology movie-goers have ever seen.
The release of Kingsman: The Golden Circle in 4DX was made possible by collaboration between Twentieth Century Fox and the 4DX Studios location in Hollywood. Through their partnership, 4DX was able to enhance the many aspects of the new Kingsman film, from the classics of spy thriller elements - gun shots, lasers, fight scenes – to the subtle nuances.

In 2016, a total of 105 movies including 59 Hollywood blockbusters were released in 4DX. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is expected to follow in the pattern of other filmed released in 4DX and continue to raise global interest in 4DX.
